V cone flowmeter is a new type of differential pressure flowmeter which is made up of V cone flow sensor and differential pressure transmitter. It is a differential pressure flowmeter developed in 1980s to make up for the deficiency of orifice plate, nozzle, venturi tube and equal-speed tube. Its successful development is a qualitative leap of differential pressure flow measurement. It USES the throttling effect of V cone in the flow field to measure the flow rate by detecting the upstream and downstream pressure difference. Compared with ordinary throttles, it changes the throttling layout, changing from central orifice to annular throttling. It has been proved by practice that compared with other flow meters, the v-cone flowmeter manufactured by huahai measurement and control has the advantages of high long-term accuracy, good stability, small installation limitation, wear resistance, wide measuring range, small pressure loss and suitable for dirty medium. V cone flowmeter is widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, electric power, heating and other areas of national economy.

Installation method
Measure liquid flow
(a) the differential pressure transmitter is preferably installed below the inner cone device (figure 1.1) to avoid the flow of liquid gas into the pressure pipe and transmitter.
(b) if the transmitter has to be mounted on top of the inside cone device (figure 1.2), a u-bend should be installed between the inside cone device and the pressure guide tube to reduce the flow of gas in the liquid, and the lower end of the elbow should be at least 1 meter below the center of the tube.
(c) on a horizontal or sloping pipe, if the pipe is mounted on the upper half of the cone device, gas will accumulate in the pipe and if the lower half of the cone device is installed, sediment will fall into the pipe. Therefore, the guide tube shall be drawn from both ends of the horizontal center line of the internal cone device, or less than 45 degrees from the horizontal downward

Measure steam flow
(a) in order to ensure that the transmitter is not affected by the high temperature of the steam, it is necessary before the transmitter and the internal cone device
Install two condensers at the same height and fill the condenser, pressure pipe and high and low pressure Chambers with condensation

Measure gas flow
(a) the differential pressure transmitter is preferably installed above the inner cone device (figure 3.1) so that it can be used in the guide tube

(b) if the transmitter has to be installed below the cone device (figure 3.2), in order to reduce water condensation

1. No display or output after power on
1. The power is not added, or the power is positive or negative.
